RACE UP
The University of Padova has got its own team in the Formula SAE, a student car design and racing competition organized by SAE International (formerly Society of Automotive Engineers).
Padova’s racing car that participated in the 2006 championship was entirely designed, planned and built by a team of Professors and students of our Faculty of Engineering, and ranked first for project quality among the Italian Universities.
Our Team has also got the first prize for its Business Plan Presentation on the Hockenheim Circuit (2009), and the prize for “Best New-Comer Team” on the Silverstone Circuit (2010).
